Grayson Site Terms

These terms govern access to and use of Grayson County Released Inmates. Browsing or using any feature means the visitor accepts these conditions. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site.

This is a privately owned reference with no government, sheriff, jail, or corrections affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers FCRA-covered services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

The site organizes links and explanations for Grayson County and Virginia custody and release resources. It stores no official records, cannot confirm anyone's current status, cannot release a person, and cannot file a document. Some links connect visitors with independent research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must remain lawful and must not interfere with the site or another person. A visitor agrees not to:

  • Break any law while using site material.
  • Stalk, threaten, harass, or harm another person.
  • Use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or similar decisions.
  • Attempt access to systems or data without permission.
  • Run automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers.
  • Disrupt access or service for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It and its advertising partners do not supply consumer reports, credit reports, background checks, or screening services. Information may not be used to decide employment, tenancy or housing, creditworthiness, insurance rates, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other matter regulated by the FCRA.

Independent Outbound Resources

Links may point to sheriff and corrections offices, release records, government portals, legal-aid sources, and outside search providers. A link is not an endorsement. This site does not control a destination's content, availability, security, or data practices, so visitors should review that provider's own terms.

Service Provided As Is

All content and functions are offered “as is” without warranties. No promise is made that information is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or matched by a partner search. Custody records change often, and nothing published here is an official statement from a government office.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site's owners, operators, and content partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages tied to use of, or inability to use, the site.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its owners, and its partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's actions, misuse, or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Unless otherwise stated, the site's text, graphics, logo, layout, and code belong to Grayson County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, republished, or distributed without written permission.

Revisions and Access

These terms may change at any time, and a posted revision takes effect when published. Access may also be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time and without advance notice.

Virginia Law Controls

Virginia law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any permitted dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Virginia.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that part will be narrowed only as needed. All remaining provisions continue in effect.
